place to be

Just last Sunday, my family from my mother's side went to a place in Tagaytay. It was an hour and a half drive, but I survived (thanks to Spotify.)

The place was called Foggy Heights Subdvision. Located at the foremost heart of Tagaytay, it was very cold! From the place we were staying in, the view from the Taal Lake was only a 5-minute drive. Knowing how I go with surreal nature-ish views, I convinced my uncle to drive us there (just to take pictures.)
It was a surreal view, I swear.

The place we stayed in was like an apartment; with 3 floors, it stood at a 2 storey figure, making the view on the 3rd floor an amazing one.

The interior was a real winner, though. Polished brass embraced the staircase, as well as the door frame and the door itself. It was a beautiful place.

The kitchen was warm and welcoming. The countertops were white-ish with a gray tone of marble ensemble. It felt extra fancy whenever we cooked our meals in it. HAHAHA.

The 2nd floor was the main sala, and the interior was, hands down, a beautiful one as well. The table, the chairs, some of the figurines, even! Like this bird below; located at the edge of the room.

Once we checked out, we went to Twin Lakes, Tagaytay to bond over coffee and embrace the cool breeze from the little hills that surrounded the place.

This weekend getaway has been one of my favorites so far, and it's a good start to enjoy the year 2016. Hopefully by summer, we can do it again.
